이 연구는 『豊山金氏世傳書畵帖』의 구성을 살피고 이를 통해 김중휴의 편찬의식을 고찰해보고자 한 것이다. 『豊山金氏世傳書畵帖』은 안동시 풍산읍 오미동에서 오백여 년 간 세거해온 豊山金氏 문중에서 전해 내려오는 서화첩으로, 鶴巖 金重休에 의해 제작되었다. 이 서화첩은 17점의 그림이 수록된 乾과 14점의 그림이 수록된 坤의 두 책으로 구성되어 있다. 풍산김씨 10세부터 20세까지의 인물 가운데 19명의 행적을 그린 각각의 그림 우측 상단에는 표제가 적혀 있고, 뒷장에는 그림을 둘러싼 일화 등이 자세하게 소개되어 있다. 기억할 만한 것을 골라 기록으로 남겨 후세에 전하는 것은 의미 있는 일이다. 전통시대에는 가문이 매우 중요한 의미를 차지하였기 때문에 자신이 속한 가문을 드높이고자 하는 일은 다양한 방법으로 수행되었다. 따라서 선조에 관한 사적을 정리하여 책으로 편찬한다는 것은 가문과 조상에 대한 존숭의식과 밀접한 관련을 지닌다 할 수 있다. 그러나 이 서화첩은 편찬자가 단순히 가문에 대한 자부심을 드러내는 것에만 그치지 않는다. 편찬자 스스로가 지니고 있던 자료 정리 및 축적에 대한 관심과 18세기 이후 정치·사회적 상황 속에서의 自家門에 대한 인식과 그에 대한 대처가 함께 맞물려 이루어진 것으로 볼 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to examine Kim Jung-hyu(金重休)`s Compilation Consciousness through the composition 『Pungsangimssi- Sejeonseohwacheop(豊山金氏世傳書畵帖)』. As 『Pungsangimssi- Sejeonseohwacheop (豊山金氏世傳書畵帖)』 is the album of calligraphy that has been come down from the Pungsan Kim Family(豊山金氏), which had resided in Omi-dong, Pungsan-eup, Andong-si for generations, it was produced by Hakam(鶴巖) Kim Jung-hyu(金重休). This album of calligraphy is composed of two books in Geon(乾) of being included 17 pieces of pictures and in Gon(坤) of being contained 14 pieces of pictures. Among the characters aged from 10 to 20 in the Pungsan Kim Family(豊山金氏), a title is written on the right-side top in each of having drawn 19 persons` achievements. On the next page is introduced anecdote surrounding pictures in detail. It is significant to select and record what is enough to be remembered, and to transmit it to posterity. In the traditional era, a clan possessed a very important significance. Thus, what aims to heighten a family to which oneself belongs was performed with diverse methods. Accordingly, what arranges a classic ground on ancestors and then compiles it as a book can be said to have close relationship with the consciousness of reverence for family and ancestors. However, this album of calligraphy doesn`t stop just in which a compiler simply reveals a pride of the clan. It will be able to be considered to be made by being interconnected an interest in arranging and accumulating data that a complier oneself has, a perception on Gagamun(自家門) amidst a political and social situation after the 18th century, and coping with it.
