중학교 과학 교과서에서 사용된 생명 현상 설명의 생물 철학적 분석
A Philosophical Analysis of Explaining Biological Phenomena in the Middle School Science Textbooks

This study analyzed explanations of biological phenomena in the middle school science textbooks of the 5th curriculum into causal explanations or teleological explanations. The results of the analysis showed that 70% of explanations were on the goals and the functions that living things have and that mainly causal explanations were used. In explanations of the goals and the functions which organisms have, the frequencies of causal explanations were almost equal to those of teleological explanations.
