The current and the former editions of middle school science(biology) teacher`s guides were analyzed and compared each other. The results obtained are follows: 1. Considering the purpose of academic years, only intellectual part was emphasized in the former edition but in the current one definitive part is also emphasized and suggests ways of evaluation. 2. The current and the former teacher`s guides are comprised element describing the general aspect and detailed exposition in which concrete guiding principles are explained. 3. Both the current and the former teacher`s guides deal with every field equally of physics, chemistry, earth science and biology but emphasize biologizal science to some high extent. 4. In th science teacher`s guides of the current edition, the themes are stressed on $quot;individual$quot;, and $quot;structure and function$quot; in the levels wheres the former, $quot;tissue and organ$quot; in the levels and $quot;organism and environment$quot; in the themes. 5. Studing objectives of the current edition are stressed on the aspect of scientific inquiry more han those of former edition. 6. The connection of the science textbook(biology) and the teacher`s guide seems to be well linked in the current edition compared to the former one.
