An analysis on the facilities and managements for the experiment and practices of biology education wad made by means of the questionnaire made up fir science teachers front the middle schools in Kyongsangnam-do Province. 1. The science teachers were scanty in the concrete experiences fur the biological experiments and practices, and half of them had the teaching career less than ten years. 2. Holding proportion of the science laboratory was 97.0%, end those of preparatory room, green house, teaching garden and pond were 43.2%, 28.8%, 22.0%, and 18.2%, respectively. 55.4% of responders indicated to have 3∼5 microscopes, 18.9% have 1∼2, 15.9% have 6∼10, and 6.8% have more than 11. 3. It appeared that 72.7% of them carried out experiments more than six times a year, and 44.7% of them organized their cases into 8 groups of 8 students for conducting experiment. 4. Most of them experienced the inconvenience for the biological experiments and practices owing to the shortage of facilities arid equipments, crowded classes, excessive class works, and insufficiency of the administrative supports.
