목적: MMSE(Mini-Mental Statue Examination)는 간단하게 인지 정신 상태를 평가할 수있는 도구이다. 하지만 아동용은 그 사용이 미흡하고 국내에서는 아직 한국형 아동MMSE가 소개된 바 없고, 임상에서 짧은 시간 동안 간단하게 아동의 인지 기능을 평가할 수 있는 검사도구가 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 실정에 적합한 한국형 아동 MMSE 문항을 개발하고 내용타당도를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 기존에 보고된 성인 및 아동용 MMSE와 다양한 문헌들을 바탕으로 한국형아동 간이 정신 상태 검사(Mini-Mental Statue Examination. Korea Child, MMSE-KC)의 문항을 구성하였다. MMSE-KC의 내용타당도 검증을 위해 2015년 6월부터 동년 9월까지 25명의 작업치료 소아치료 전문가가 설문에 참여하였다. 2차에 걸쳐 내용타당도를 검증하였다. 결과: 1차와 2차 내용타당도 검증을 통해 내용타당도 지수는 .75를 초과하는 항목들로 문항을 구성하였다. 총 35문항, 44점 만점으로 구성된 MMSE-KC 평가지와 평가지침서를 개발하였다. 결론: MMSE-KC의 문항이 아동의 인지 기능 평가라는 목적과 적절히 부합하고, 적절한 내용의 타당성을 가진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이후로 MMSE-KC의 신뢰도에 대한 연구, 다른 검사와의 상관관계에 대한 연구와 정상 아동과 장애 아동을 대상으로한 표준화 연구도 필요하리라 생각된다.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop a Korea Child version of the Mini-Mental Statute Examination(MMSE) and to invest of content validity. Methods: We developed the MMSE-KC(Mini-Mental Status Examination . Korea Child) based on the MMSE for adult and child and lots of literatures. The content validity index was identified by 25 pediatric occupational therapists, who had experience at least 5 years. The content validity was invested twice. Result: We selected itemts that content validity index is above .75. The MMSE-KC is composed 35 items and total score is 44. Conclusion: As a tool for evaluating the cognitive function of child, MMSE-KC’s content validity were confirmed. Further, studies about reliability, relationship with other test and standard data will be needed for better application of MMSE-KC.
