많은 한국 교회가 위기와 회복의 골든타임을 지나고 있다. 설교와 교육은 이들 교회의 위기 극복의 키워드로 자주 언급된다. 하지만 설교와 교육이 서로 연관성 없이 동떨어진 과제인양, 제각각의 평가와 대책을 내어 놓는 것을 자주 접하게 된다. 실천신학의 같은 분과에 속한 설교학과 교육학은 동일한 규범적, 실증적, 실천적 과제와 목표를 수행하기에, 교회 회복을 위해 서로 다른 대책을 내기보다 서로 상호작용하는 통합적인 대안 제시가 필요하다. 이 논문은 변치 않는 하나님의 말씀의 진리(규범적 과제)를 오늘날의 교회 교육의 현장, 특히 회중/학습자를 향한 민감성과 함께 고려하면서(실증적 증거), 구체적인 실천적 과제로서 교회 교육을 위한 하나의 설교학적 제안을 하고자 한다(실천적 대안). 특별히 이 논문은 하나님의 전반적인 경륜을 담은 성경 커뮤니케이션의 특징을 존중하면서도 체계적이고 균형 잡힌교회 교육을 위한 장기적인 설교 계획의 필요성과 그 구체적인 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 이 논문은 먼저 설교와 교육의 상보적 기능과 통합적 접근의 필요성을 논의하고자 한다. 다음으로 오늘날 회중/학습자들의 다양한 학습패턴에 대한 이해와 현대 설교의 다양한 방법론, 그리고 성경 커뮤니케이션의 다양성을 차례로 살펴보면서, 이들 간의 공통된 교차점을 확인하고 그 통합 가능성을 모색해본다. 이런 이론적 기반으로 성경 커뮤니케이션의 다양성(규범적 과제), 청중의 학습 방법의 다양성(실증적 과제), 그리고 설교 방법의 다양성(실천적 과제)을 통합한 균형 잡힌 교회 교육을 위한 장기적인 설교 계획에 대한 구체적 모델을 제안하고자 한다.
Many Korean churches are passing through the golden time of crisis and recovery. Preaching and teaching are often mentioned as key words for the recovery. However, many homileticians and church educators usually present varying evaluations of or solutions to the crisis as if they were not interrelated to the church ministries. Instead, since they have the same normative, empirical, and practical tasks for the church practices, we need to pursue a holistic practical approach of preaching and teaching toward the recovery of the church. In this regard, this paper will present a homiletical suggestion(the practical task) for church eduction, considering both never-changing biblical communication of God(the normative task) and diverse learning patterns of the congregation/learners(the empirical task). Particularly, this study will provide a systemized and balanced long-term preaching plan that may help the recovery of church education, honoring the biblical communicational characteristics of the whole counsel of God. For this purpose, this paper, first of all, will discuss the mutually complementary roles between eduction and preaching for church ministries and thus the necessity of a holistic approach toward them. Next, this paper will examine contemporary educational theories of multiple learning patterns, diverse preaching methodologies in the sphere of homiletics, and diverse biblical communication with the characteristics of biblical genres, with a view to searching for possible integration of their common grounds. Lastly, with the holistic integration among diverse biblical communication, different learning patterns, and various preaching methods, a specific model of a long-term sermon plan will be suggested for building a balanced church education.
