본 연구는 초기 청소년의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응(감정코칭, 감정 무시, 과민)과 청소년의 문제행동 간 관계에서 성별에 따른 매개효과를 확인하고자 하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 중학교 1, 2, 3학년 남자, 여자 청소년을 대상으 로 청소년의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응 척도, 탄력성, 문제행동 척도에 대한 자료 수집을 하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 t검증과 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실 시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하자면 첫째, 초기 청소년의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어 머니의 반응(감정코칭, 감정무시, 과민)과 청소년의 탄력성, 문제행동에서 남자 청 소년 집단과 여자 청소년 집단의 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 남자와 여자 청소 년 집단 별로 구조모형을 분석해 본 결과, 자녀의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응과 청소년의 문제행동 간 관계에서 탄력성이 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났 다. 셋째, 초기 청소년의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응이 청소년의 탄력성 을 통해 문제행동에 미치는 경로에서 성별에 따른 차이를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 초기 청소년의 문제행동을 예방하기 위한 부모교육 및 상담적 개입의 관점에서 논 의하였다.

The study examined the pathways from maternal reactions to early adolescents’ negative emotions to adolescents’ problem behavior through adolescents’ resilience by gender. The participants in this study comprised 506 middle school 1th-3th graders(of which 224 were boys, and 261 were girls). They completed questionnaires on maternal reactions to adolescents’ negative emotions, adolescents`` resilience and K-YSR. Data were analyzed by means of T-test and structural equation modeling. Results showed that (a) The maternal reactions to early adolescents’ negative emotions, adolescents’ resilience and problem behavior of two groups was significant. (b) The early adolescents’ resilience mediated the effects of maternal emotion-coaching, over-sensitive reactions on problem behavior. (c) It also found that there are distinct pathways from maternal emotion-ignoring reactions to adolescents’ negative emotions to problem behavior through resilience by gender.
