아동문학은 아동의 욕망과 본성을 긍정적으로 다루어야 한다는 관점에서 ‘놀이’에 주목하고, 아동의 놀이 모습과 심리를 섬세하게 표현하고 있는 아동서사를 탐구하였다. 이 논문에서는 ‘아동놀이서사’라는 용어를 개념화하였다. 놀이 자체가 서사를 진행하는 핵심 사건이며, 인물의 갈등과 해결을 추동하는 원인으로 작용하는 아동 서사를 말한다. 놀이 심리와 놀이 욕구에 따라 아동놀이서사의 분석 기준을 마련하고, 현덕 동화를 아동독자에게 책 읽어주기를 하여 아동놀이서사의 읽기 사례를 탐구하였다. 아동놀이서사는 아동의 일상적인 놀이 문화를 다루고 있으며, 아동의 놀이 문화 담론을 이끌어 낼 수 있다는 점에서 가치를 가진다. 아동놀이서사가 더 많이 창작되고 읽혀지기를 바란다.

Children``s literature should deal with their desires and personalities in a positive way. On this point, I want to stress “play” and to study how children``s narratives delicately express their thought and play In this paper, I use “children``s narratives of play” as a technical term meaning that play is the narrative``s main event, and that play causes interpersonal conflict in specific children``s narratives. First, I analyze research texts based on children``s actions and thoughts during play. Then, I collect children``s responses to the “reading aloud” method. I also examine the reading of children``s narratives of play though a case study. These stories deal with the ubiquitous play culture of children, and can be used to start a conversation about children``s playing habits and mentalities. I look forward to creating and reading more narratives of play in children``s literature.
