본 연구의 목적은 국내 해운기업의 위험관리 요인을 분석하고, 기업특성에 따른 우선순위를 결정하여, 해운기업의 위험관리방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 국내외 해운산업의 현황, 국내 해운기업의 위험관리 현황과 관련된 선행연구를 토대로 요인을 도출하고 이에 대하여 AHP분석을 하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같이 해운기업의 위험관리 전략을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 국내 해운기업의 위험관리에 대한 인식제고가 필요하다. 둘째, 국내 해운기업의 위험 전문 관리팀 개설이 필요하다. 셋째, 정부차원의 지원이 필요하다. 넷째, 유동성 위험을 대비할 수 있는 체계마련이 필요하다. 다섯째, 전사적 의견조율을 통해 위험관리 기법에 대한 아이디어 도출과 개선방안 마련을 위한 장을 마련해야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze Korean shipping company``s risk management strategies, examine the risk factors for domestic shipping companies and to determine by a priority based system the companies characteristics. To this end, we executed AHP analytic hierarchy process) analysis on the basis of the relevant factors which were based on status of the global shipping industry, risk management, domestic shipping companies status and literature reviews. We suggest the following risk management strategies based on analysis of the results. Firstly, Korean shipping companies need to raise awareness about shipping risk management. Secondly, shipping companies need to set up internal risk management teams. Thirdly, the Korean government should support to Small and medium-sized enterprises. Fourthly, large companies are required for the liquidity risk management system. Fifthly, shipping companies coordinate and manage complex risk management activities and strategies among their departments.
