Angioleiomyoma is a benign tumor arising from the vascular smooth muscle (tunica media) and presents commonly lower extremities between third and fifth decades of life predisposing to women. It is classified into three histological subtypes; solid, venous and cavernous. And the solid type is the most common but the cavernous and venous types are relatively rare. It presents as a painful or tender mass in the many cases. We report a case of a 64-year-old male with a plantar angioleiomyoma. The patient had a 10-year history of an asymptomatic and slowly enlarging 1.5× 1.5 cm-sized subcutaneous nodule on the left sole. Histopathologic examination showed a well-demarcated nodular tumor in the dermis, which are composed of numerous bundles of smooth muscle fibers and several scattered vessels. Asymptomatic angioleiomyoma is not common symptom for many patients. So angioleiomyoma should be considered as a differential diagnosis of any asymptomatic solitary plantar mass.
