Moreover, they thought that the film``s artistic creation, image building, and forms innovation should organically be combined. Thus, about a decade``s time from the early 1980s to the early 1990s, through continuous exploration and reflection, the fifth generation film directors gradually pushed the contemporary Chinese film concepts into mature.
