본고에서는 최근 점점 늘어나고 있는 비즈니스 한국어교육의 성과를 연구 주제별로 검토해봄으로써 현재 비즈니스 한국어 교육의 연구 동향을 점검하고 앞으로의 방향성을 짚어보는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 비즈니스 한국어는 직업을 목적으로 하는 한국어 교육으로 정의되어 있는데 학습자의 특성에 따라서 이주노동자를 위한 한국어 교육과 일반 사무직에 종사하는 학습자를 대상으로 하는 한국어 교육으로 분류되어 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 일반 사무직에 종사하는 학습자를 대상으로 하는 연구를 주로 검토하였으며 그 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지금까지의 연구는 주제별로 연구의 편차가 큰 편이다. 둘째, 비즈니스 한국어 교육 역시 일반 목적의 한국어 교육과 마찬가지로 다양한 분야의 연구가 필요하다. 셋째, 실증적 연구가 요구된다. 넷째, 특수목적 한국어 교육의 본질을 극대화해야 한다. 다섯 째, 교사에 대한 전문적인 교육이 요구된다. 앞으로는 기존의 한국어교육학에서 다루었던 연구 주제도 물론 비교 검토의 차원에서 다뤄야하겠지만 연구 주제의 다양성과, 연구 방법의 다각화를 적극 수용하여야 할 것이다. 또한 본고는 비록 한국어교육학 연구 검토를 참고하고 이를 기준으로 연구사를 검토하였으나 앞으로의 연구 방향에 대한 시각이 다양해질 수 있는 발판이 될 것이다.

This study is intended to set the direction of future research topics by reviewing the performance of the Business Korean education. Business Korean is a kind of Korean for specific purpose. The focus of analysis for this study is to review the topics on history and to set the direction for future research. The results of this study are as follows. First, there are many differences depending on the research topic up to now. Second, studies are needed in a variety of fields in the future. Third, empirical studies are needed in Business Korean education. Fourth, the essence of the special-purpose Korean education should be maximized. Fifth, professional training for teachers is required. We should study a variety of subjects. And diversification of research methods will be embracing. This study may be helpful so that you can have a variety of perspectives about research directions.
