이 연구는 국내에서 가장 보편화된 스마트폰의 K어플을 AAC 언어중재 프로그램에 활용하여 의사소통 능력에 결함을 보이는 지적장애 중학생의 어휘다양도 및 내용어 사용 변화에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 감각적 그리고 신체적으로 이상이 없으면서 언어발달 연령이 7세에서 10세 범위에 속하는 지적장애 중학생 3명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 연구결과, 스마트폰의 K어플을 이용한 언어 중재가 지적장애학생들의 어휘다양도 변화에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 의사소통에 사용되는 명사, 동사, 형용사, 수사의 변화를 통해 살펴본 내용어 사용 변화의 정도에 있어서도 K어플을 사용한 언어중재 프로그램은 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 매체 관련 연구의 방향 및 교수-학습 방법 방향을 제언하였다.

The purpose of the research was to examine the type token ration and context language use change in the use of K-application to middle school students with intellectual disabilities. In order to attain the aim, We selected middle school students with intellectual disabilities who were no physical and sensory impairment but language development range was 7～10 years. The results of this study were as follows; First, mediated by the K-application on in smartphone was effective in changing type token ration to students with intellectual disabilities. Second, noun used to communicate, verbs, adjectives, language applications using the K-application also effective in increasing the amount of context language.
