최근 세계경제의 중심이 중국의 동북아 지역을 중심으로 이동하면서 중국 동북3성은 비약적인 발전을 이룩하고 있다. 중국은 개혁.개방이후 물류산업을 국가 중점산업으로 적극 육성함으로써 한국에게는 위협이면서 또한 기회요인으로 작용하고 있다. 중국 동북3성은 중국 동북지역에 위치하여 남북한의 한반도 및 러시아와 인접하고 있으며 1950년대에는 고속성장, 1970년대 후반부터 2000년대 초반까지는 장기침체, 그리고 2000년대 후반 이후부터는 부흥을 경험하고 있다. 중국 정부가 동북진흥정책을 시행하면서 동북3성 지역은 경제가 빠르게 성장하면서 성장속도의 둔화 추세에 접어든 중국경제에 최근 새로운 동력이 되고 있다. 이러한 중국의 동북아물류 중심지화에 대응하기 위한 남북한 통합물류 연구는 매우 시급한 것이 사실이다. 가장 우선해야할 것 중의 하나는 북한의 종합적인 물류인프라 개발전략의 수립이며 남한과 연계된 남북한 통합물류계획의 수립이다. 남북한 통합물류인프라 구축을 위한 정책수립이 이루어져야 할 것이며 중국의 동북아물류 중심지화에 대해서도 대비하여야 한다. 또한 남북한 통합 친화적 시장경제정책의 실현을 통해 북한의 개방과 경제발전을 이룩하는 것도 무엇보다 중요하므로 남북통합물류를 통한 중국의 동북아 물류중심지화에 대응하는 등 모든 관련분야에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Recently, as the center for world economy changed around northeast Asia region, the three northeastern provinces in China are making rapid economic growth. Since reform and opening up, China actively promoted logistics industry as the priority national industry and became a threat and the opportunity factor to Korea at the same time. As the Chinese government enforced the northeast development policy, economy of the three northeastern provinces made rapid development and became a new power to Chinese economy that entered a downward trend in growth rate. Research on logistics integration of North and South Korea to deal with China becoming the major distribution center of Northeast Asia is in fact very urgent. First and most important issue is to establish the development strategy of general physical distribution infrastructure of North Korea and to set up integrated distribution plan of North and South Korea. Policy for the construction of integrated distribution infrastructure of North and South Korea needs to be established and need to prepare for China becoming the major distribution center in Northeast Asia. Also, it is considered necessary to conduct researches on how to deal with China becoming the major distribution center in Northeast Asia through logistics integration of Korea and on every related field as achieving North Korea’s external opening and economic development through realization of integrated friendly market economic policy of North and South Korea is more important than anything.
