瑞川 隣近 海域에서 石油分解細菌의 季節的 變化相을 調査하였다. 調査海域에서, 石油分解細菌數는 3.0×10^1 cells/1 - 7.5 × 10^2 cells/1 의 範圍로 測定되었다. 總細菌數에 對한 比率은 0.031%~0.000064% 程度로 매우 낮은 分布를 보였다. 調査海域에서 分離한 石油分解細菌은 Pseudomonas, Enterobacteriaceae, Aeromonas, Vibrio, Acinetobacter Staphylococcus로 밝혀졌다. 石油分解細菌數와 測定된 環境要因들과의 連關性을 把握하기 위하여 一次相關係數를 計算하였다. 石油分解細菌群集의 크기와 總細菌數, 生化學的 酸素 要求量사이에서 매우 높은 相關關係가 觀察되었다.
The seasonal and spatial fluctuation of petroleum-degrading bacterial population was wstimated in the coastal water near Soch`on-gun. The number of petroleum-degrading bateria measured in the range of 3.0 × 10^1 cells/1 - 7.5 × 10^2 cells/1 with a relatively small population. The proportions of the number of petroleum-degrading bacteria to total viable counts were in the range of 0.031% - 0.000064%. Pseudomonas, Enterobacteriaceae, Aeromonas, Vibrio, Acinetobacter and Staphylococcus were isolated as petroleum-degrader. To examine correlations for petroleum-degrading bacteria and other environmental factors, correlation coefficients were obtained. Highly significant correlations were observed between petroleum-degrading bacterial number and total viable counts and also shown between the number of petroleum-degrading bacteria and biochemical oxygen demand.
