Acute myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke are one of the most important and fatal diseases in modern society, and they gradually increase with the aging population. The pathogenesis and risk factors of these diseases are similar. Faster and more accurate diagnosis and treatment are particularly emphasized in these two diseases, because their prognosis is determined according to the initial response. We report two cases of patients with simultaneous acute myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke. Case report 56-years old man with right side motor weakness came to ED. During work up for stroke, we observed ST elevation on lead V2, V3 and elevation of cardiac marker. CAG finding was total occlusion of LAD and MRI confirmed left ACA territory infarction. A 95-year old female, with right sided motor weakness visited our ER without chest pain. Her ECG showed T wave inversion with dynamic S-T segment changes. Her MRI confirmed left pons infarction Acute myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke can occur at the same time. The correct determination and consideration about these diseases are important because it can conceal the other, if occurred at the same time.
