Although encounters with poisonous marine organisms occur predominantly in warm temperatures and tropical seas, dangerous marine animals are found at inland area due to they are used as food. It is like Blowfish, conch, jelly fish, sting ray and devil stingers representative. Devil stinger is capable of inflicting serious sting. And Devil stinger has a similar fishes, Shaggy sea raven but is not poisonous and used as food. All members of the genus Inimicus possess a complex and extremely potent venom at dorsal fin it is potentially lethal. We report a case of moderate envenomation by Devil stinger. A 28-year-old male was stung by a Devil stinger. Three punture wounds were noted on his proximal phalanx, 4th finger, right. He complained of severe pain in the hand and forearm, especially in the punctured finger. Initial management included tetanus prophylaxis, antibiotics, analgesics. Despite using high potency analgesic such as pethidine patient complained with severe pain until apply a hot water immersion. Devil stinger`s venom can cause respiratory arrest, we hospitalized him. After 1day, he was discharged without any sequele. Now we can encounter patients stung by devil stinger. When encounter with such patients don`t be embrassed and aid it calmly and observation for 2 days with Sa02 monitoring.
