이 연구는 범죄는 사회적 진공 상태에서 발생하지 않는다는 명제 아래 사회의 변화와 초국적범죄와 범죄조직의 관계를 범죄학적 이론적 분석의 측면에서 살펴보았다. 이 연구는 초국적 범죄와 범죄조직을 이해할 때 초국적(국제적) 맥 락을 포괄할 필요성이 있음을 살펴보았다. 이러한 이론적 고찰과 초국적 조직 범죄에 대한 연구 동향의 고찰을 통해서, 현재의 범죄학 이론과 연구가 초국적 범죄 연구의 새로운 요구를 충족할 수 있을지 살펴보았다.

Crime does not occur in a vacuum. It is obvious that transnational organized crime also does not occur in a societal vacuum. In light of this, this study examined the diverse aspects of the transnational organized crime and introduced some theoretical considerations on the transnational organized crime.
