본 논문은 이사야서에 나타난 황폐한 자녀들의 모습과 그들의 회복에 대한주제를 다룬다. 이사야 선지자는 바벨론 포로기 상황 가운데 있는 자녀들에게 하나님의 넘치는 진노의 잔이 부어졌고 자녀들은 황폐해 졌다고 말한다(사51:17-20). 또한 자녀들의 회복을 약속하며 영광스런 예루살렘의 미래를 선포한다. 이사야 선지자가 말하는 자녀 회복은 세 가지로 방법으로 나타난다. 첫째, 하나님의 성령을 통하여 자녀들의 영적 회복이 일어날 것을 예언하고 있다. 둘째, 고난의 종의 대속적 사역을 통한 자녀들의 회복을 언급한다. 이스라엘 백성들이 바벨론에 포로로 끌려가는 근본적인 원인은 죄 때문이며 자녀들이 회복되기 위해서는 먼저 백성들의 죄와 허물의 문제가 해결되어야 한다. 하나님께서는 백성들의 죄와 허물을 대신 감당할 고난의 종을 제시하신다. 셋째, 하나님 말씀의 가르침을 통한 자녀들의 회복을 말한다. 예루살렘 성에서 자녀들이 말씀으로 가르침을 받는 것은 아브라함과 모세를 통해 주신 자녀들에 대한 수직적 교육명령의 회복이다(창 18:19; 신 6:4~9). 자녀들이 하나님의 말씀으로 바로 가르침을 받을 때 하나님의 언약 백성으로서 정체성이 살아나고 영적으로 치유되어 이들에게 하나님의 평강이 강과 같이 넘칠 것이다.

This article explores the desolate children and their restoration in the Book of Isaiah. The prophet Isaiah announced that the children in the Babylonian Captivity were devastated because God`s wrath was poured upon them(Isa 51:17-20). At the same time he promised the restoration of the children and announced the glorious future of Jerusalem. The prophet Isaiah presented three ways of the restoration of children. First, the children of Israel will be restored through the work of the Holy Spirit(Isa 44:3,4). God will pour out His Spirit upon them and they will spring up among the grass like willows. Second, the children will be restored through the vicarious atonement of the suffering servant(Isa 53:10). The fundamental reason of the Babylonian Captivity was the sin. Thus, the problem of the sin must be solved for the restoration of the children. The suffering servant is the one who bears the sin and transgression of the people. Third, the children will be restored through the learning of the Word of God. The Lord will teach them and their peace will be great (Isa 54:13, 59:21). This is also the restoration of the vertical educational commandment which was given to Abraham and Moses in Genesis18:19 and Deuteronomy6:4-9. When the children are taught by the Word of God, their identity as the covenant people will be assured and their spiritual desolation will be healed, and the peace of God will be overflow like a river. Shema education should be done at home and church by diligently teaching the children with the Word of God and praying for the work of the Holy Spirit in them.
