개혁개방 이후 중국조선족은 중국 내 대도시나 연해(沿海) 지역, 그리고 한국 등 세계 여러 나라로 이주하고 있다. 그들은 이주해간 지역에서 한국 기업과 한국인과 접촉하면서 ‘중국조선족’으로서의 자신의 정체성에 대해 새삼 자각하게 된다. 그들은 ‘조선’(북한) 사람도 아니고 한국 사람도 아니며, ‘본토’ 중국인도 아니다. 중국 내 소수민족 중의 하나인 ‘중국조선족’일 따름이다. 중국조선족은 이주해간 지역에서 계층적 차별과 함께 원주민과 이주민간의 차별을 경험하고 있다. 여기서 그들은 스스로를 ‘노마드’라고 인식하기도 하는데, 그러나 이에 앞서 그들이 경험한 각종의 차별에 대해 깊이 성찰할 필요가 있다. 그들은 그들 스스로 간단히 지칭하는 것과 같은 ‘유목민’ ‘유랑자’는 아닌 것이다. 이 글은 2000년대 중반 이후 최근까지 중국조선족 소설의 주된 흐름의 하나인 ‘한국 열풍’을 다룬 소설을 중심으로 그들의 현실인식과 문제의식을 살펴보는 데 목적을 둔다. 이들 소설 대부분은 ‘한국 열풍’을 현상적으로 다루고 있을 뿐, 그에 대한 보다 깊이 있는 성찰은 잘 보이지 않는다. 하지만 적지 않은 작품들이 중국조선족, 나아가 이 시대를 살아가는 사람들이 겪고 있는 각종의 차별과 그것을 극복할 수 있는 전망을 모색해보이고 있다. 2000년대 중반 이후 최근까지 중국조선족 소설이 우리에게 주는 교훈이 이것이다.

After China`s reform and opening up Chinese-Korean emigrate to big city and coast cities in Chinese and to Korea etc. They make contact with especially Korean business and Korean there, and they realize greenly their identity as Chinese-Korean. They are not North Korean, and not Korean, and not native Chinese. Merely they are Chinese-Korean that are mere one of minority group in Chinese. Chinese-Korean have an experience a class distinction and a distinction between native and transmigrant where they emigrate. Therefore they are not merely wanderers and nomads. Above all they must deeply introspect discriminations of all sorts that they have experienced where they reside. This thesis examines a present realization and a critical mind of Chinese-Korean`s novels after mid-Naughties until a recent date. This thesis examines Chinese-Korean`s novels that deal with ``Korean Wave` as the main trend of Chinese-Korean`s novels in that period. Most novels phenomenalize ``Korean Wave``. And they do not show deep introspection to that. But many novels among themselves expose discriminations of all sorts that Chinese- Korean and our contemporaries experience, and they seek prospect that can overcome their discriminations. Chinese-Korean`s novels after mid-Naughties until a recent date teach us these lesson.
