필자는 동아시아 문화가 한자한문을 사용하여 공통의 담론화 양태를 구사하였다는 사실을 부인하기는커녕 여러 면에서 그 사실에 대한 더 많은 확증을 지니고 있다. 하지만 필자는 동아시아 문화는 구체적-시공간적 축에서 보면 완전히 공통의 역사를 형성하였다고는 할 수 없다는 사실에도 주목한다. 한자한문교육은 한자문화권의 기저-장에 뿌리를 내리고 있는 인간 정체성의 공통 개념을 파악하고자 시도해야하되, 한자문화권 속에서 각 지역의 역사적 맥락을 중시하여 한자한문 문화의 차이를 확인하여야 할 것이다. 이와 같은 시각에서 본고는 다음 세 가지에 주목하였다. 첫째, 한문문언어법과 특수 문체의 병용, 둘째, 韻語활용의 역사적 전개, 셋째, 한문학 생성기반의 특성. 또한 본고는 한문학연구가 종래의 좁은 의미의 한문학연구에 머무르지 않고 인문학적, 종합적 가치를 회복해야 한다는 점을 주장하기 위해 소학(필롤로지)과 유서(전통적 백과사전)에 관해 언급하였다. 앞으로 한국의 한자한문연구와 교육은 좁은 의미의 문학만이 아니라 한자한문의 문화사 전체를 조망하는 연구체계를 지향하여야 할 것이라고 생각한다.

There are numerous evidences suggesting that East Asian cultures shared common discourse, using literary language of classical Chinese. Yet, East Asian cultures did not form identical history in the practical space-time axis. Thus the education of Korean classical Chinese should emphasize on the historical context of each region in cultural sphere and clarify differences between them, teaching human identity based on a foundation of East Asian cultural sphere. From this point of view, this paper paid attention to following three matters. First : the combined use of literary and irregular grammar of classical Chinese, Second : the historical development of applying poetic rhyme and intonation, Third : the characteristic of formation of Korean classical Chinese. In addition, this paper mentioned Xiaoxue(philology) and Ruishu(traditional ency- clopedia) with the intention that the study of classical Chinese should recover its humanistic and overall value, overcoming conventional method of study. From now on, study and education of classical Chinese in Korea should aim for research system which includes not only the literature in narrow meaning, but the cultural history of Korean classical Chinese.
