The creation of new hair design satisfying the diverse desires of customers is required as the social and temporal limitation on hair design is getting disappeared. Hair design is one area of the plastic arts to express the beauty, adding three-dimensional elements to the shape of head. Architecture among plastic arts has the similarity with hair design in what has the practicality and artistic value as well, being different from the fine arts such as painting and sculpture. This study has been proceeded to maximize the value of hair design as plastic arts, finding the unlimited possibility to develop the diverse and creative idea and enlarge the area of artistic expression through producing the work by incorporating the up-style which means heaping one by one like architecture and the characteristic of architectural folding structure. As a result, it contributed to maximize the value of hair design as a plastic arts, making it possible to share the modeling elements by applying the identical aesthetic criterion coming from harmony of architecture and up-style.
