This Study considers William Wilberforce`s religious belief and his action. Wilberforce was an English social reformer and a leader of the Society for the Anti-Slavery. He desired to promote Christianity and Christian ethics in private and public life. He was a deeply religious English member of parliament from 1780 to 1825. He devoted most of his life and parliamentary career to achieve two goals, which were the abolition of the British Slave Trade and the achievement for the Reformation of Manners. He campaigned for almost twenty years to end British involvement in the Transatlantic Slave Trade. After 20 years of his life to the struggle, he finally achieved his first goal, the abolition of the British Slave Trade, in 1807. For his second goal, he committed to abolish the vicious customs and was dedicated to social justice. His devotion came from his sincere faith, and his Christian faith had a great influence on people. Wilberforce was the person who tried to fulfill the word of Christ by devoting his life to performing with love, compassion, justice and charity.
