하나님의 오이코노미아와 돈의 권력 사이의 관계를 현대적 상황에서 살펴보는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 두 가지 명백한 전제들이 있다. 첫째는 세계화의 과정에서 경제적(돈) 건력은 종교적인 영역을 포함하여 거의 모든 삶의 영역에서 커다란 영향력을 끼치고 있다는 사실이며 둘째로는 세계화의 우산 아래에서 돈은 많은 사회적-정치적 그리고 문화적-종교적인 문제들을 양산하고 있으며 이런 문제들에 대해 신앙공동체는 바른 해결책을 제시해야 하는 사명이 있다는 사실이다. 그러므로 본연구는 돈의 경제적 권력의 본질과 실재를 설명하고 또한 신앙공동체가 돈의 권력을 어떻게 해석하고 반응해야 할지를 서술하고 있다. 그 외에 또한 하나님의 오이코노미아에 대한 바른 신학적 고찰을 제시함으로써 경제적 삶에 대한 바른 의미를 해석하는 데 있다. 이런 연고로 본 연구는 하나님의 경제인 오이코노미아를 신학적 모델로 하여 균형 잡힌 성경적 원리를 통해 돈에 관한 오늘날의 세계에 더 적합하고 온당한 신학적 관점을 드러내고자 한다. 구러한 이유로 본연구는 돈의 본질과 돈의 사용에 관한 세상과 구별되는 신학적 이론들을 제안하고 하나님의 오이코노미아를 통해 얻게 되는 경륜과 분배, 그리고 성도의 청지기 삶의 본질과 기능을 은혜 경제의 틀 안에서 신학적 관찰들을 통해 다룬다. 또한, 한나님 나라의 관점에서 바라보는 ‘명예의 경제’를 위한 타당한 경제적 생산성과 경제정의의 형성과 실현을 가능케 하는 하나님의 오이코노미아적 발견들을 제시하고자 한다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 앞으로의 하나님의 은혜의 경제인 오이코노미아의 발전과 실천을 위한 미래 지향적인 신학적 방향과 궤도들을 제안한다.

The goal of this study is to present the constructive approach to God`s Oikonomia and its relation to the power of money in contemporary context. This study has two obvious premises: first, in the process of globalization the economic(money) power heavily influences on almost every aspect of human life, including religious life as well; and, second, under umbrella of process of globalization, the current economic development causes many social-political and cultural-religious problems which need to be addressed some legitimate solutions by the community of faith. This study, thus, seeks to identify the nature and reality of economic power of money and shows how the community of faith can interpret or respond to it. In addition, at the same time, it also needs to provide appropriate theological reflections for God`s Oikonomia in a way of interpreting the true meaning of economic life. On this line of thinking, this study attempts to explore God`s Oikonomia as theological model for constructing a balanced biblical foundation for economic life that provides more adequate and suitable theological viewpoint of money for today`s world. In doing so, it deals with some distinct theological features of the money and its usage in the framework of God`s economic grace which reflects on the nature and function of the dispensation, distribution, and stewardship. Moreover, it shares some distinctive biblical and theological findings of God`s Oikonomia for the purpose of establishing and revitalizing economic productivity and justice for ‘the Economics of Honor’ in the light of God`s Kingdom`s perspective. Finally, the study gives some conclusive thoughts which construe theological tasks with the directions and trajectory for the future development and practive of God`s Oikonomia in present time.
