선집의 실상과 비평가들의 총평을 통해 이인로?김극기?이규보?이제현?이색 등 5인은 고려 후기 한시사의 주역으로서 한 시대의 시풍을 주도하였던 대가들이었음이 확인되므로, 이들을 중심으로 하여 이 시기의 시사적 흐름을 개관해 볼 수 있다. 이들의 시세계의 중요한 기조를 검증하여 영향관계나 상통성이 인정되는 중국의 대표적인 시인들과 견주는 방식으로 작풍의 실상을 검증해 보면 이인로는 황정견, 김극기는 육유, 이규보는 백거이, 이제현은 구양수, 이색은 소식과 공통적인 경향이 두드러짐을 확인할 수 있다. 시대를 주도하였던 시인의 중심적 시풍을 인상적으로 규정해 보고자 한 이와 같은 검토방법은 커다란 한계를 지닌 점을 부인하기 어렵지만, 이러한 방향의 노력은 진작부터 필요한 일이었다는 점을 반성해 보는 게기로 삼기에는 부족하지 않을 것이다. 따라서 이제까지 흔히 볼 수 있었던 피상적인 비교문학적 접근을 지양하고, 구조주의적?해석학적 방법까지 보탠 비교검토를 면밀히 적용하는 노력을 한다면, 개별시인의 시적 특질과 시사의 이해를 다 진전시키는 데 도움이 될 것이라는 전망도 가능할 것이다.

By investigating the vitual circumstances of sellections and criticts` general surveys on the history of Sino-Korean poetry of the latter half of Koryo, five great poets such as Yi In-ro, Kim Keugi, Yi Kyeu-bo, Yi Jae-hyeon and Yi Ssaek were the leading men who led poetical styles of each period in it. Comparing them with Chenese great poets by considering a cognition about poetry, underlying tone in poetry world and poetical style, Yi In-ro held something in common eminently with Huang T`ing-chien, Kim Keugi did with Lu You, Yi Kyeu-bo did with Po Chu-i, Yi Jae-hyeon did with Ou-yang Hsiu and Yi Ssaek did with Su Shih. Making a survey on the history of Sino-Korean poetry by like this has limits evidently. But we can have an reflective opportunity for recognizing necessity to try this sort of endeavor. Therefore, if we apply nute verification by the methods of comperative literature, structuralism and hermeneutics on historical literary phenomenons, it shall be able to have a view of advance to understanding the history of Sino-Korean poetry of the latter half of Koryo.
