본 연구에서는 어머니의 양육효능감과 삶의 만족도 관계에서 부모역할만족도와 결혼만족도의 가장 적합한 모형을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 7세 이하 영·유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 528명을 대상으로 하였으며, 양육효능감, 부모역할만족도, 결혼만족도, 삶의 만족도 척도를 사용하였고, 결과분석을 위하여 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 구조방정식모형 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 양육효능감은 부모역할만족도, 결혼만족도, 삶의 만족도와 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 양육효능감이 부모역할만족도와 결혼만족도를 매개로 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과, 양육효능감이 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 모든 가능성을 고려한 전체모형이 지지되었다. 즉 양육효능감이 삶의 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치며, 부모역할만족도와 결혼만족도의 매개로 삶의 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to test the best fit model of the relation among parenting efficacy, parental role satisfaction, marital satisfaction, and life satisfaction. A total of 527 mothers with children under the age of 7 years old were selected for this study. Questionnaires included parenting efficacy, parental role satisfaction, marital satisfaction, and life satisfaction. Factor analysis, Pearson correlations, and structural equation analysis were conducted for the data analysis. The major findings were as follows. The First finding was that parenting efficacy had positive relationships on parental role satisfaction, marital satisfaction, and life satisfaction. The Second finding was that the saturated model was selected to explore the relationships among parenting efficacy, parental role satisfaction, marital satisfaction, and life satisfaction. The results showed that parenting efficacy had directly and indirectly influenced parental role satisfaction and marital satisfaction on the mothers` lives.
