본 연구는 가치탐구 중심의 경제교육이 유아의 친사회적 행동에 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 서울의 S유치원 만 5세 유아 50명을 대상으로 실험 집단 25명에게는 가치탐구 중심의 경제교육을 실시하였고 비교집단 25명에게는 일반 적인 생활주제 중심의 경제교육이 이루어졌다. 실험집단은 8주 동안 12회에 걸쳐가 치탐구중심의 경제교육을 실시하였으며 활동의 사전과 사후에 친사회적 행동 검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 가치탐구 중심의 경제교육에 참여한 실험집단의 친사회적 행 동의 변화가 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타내었으며 특히, 개인정서조절능력과 대 인관계형성능력에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 따라서 가치탐구 중심의 경제교육은 친사회적 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to examine effects of the value inquiry centered economics education on young children`s pro-social behaviors. This study will emphasize the following questions. First, are there any differences in pro-social behaviors through values education activities concerning cooperation in terms of groups? A total of 50 children (25 children in the experimental group and 25 children in the comparative group) enrolled in 2 classes participated in this study. The 2 classes serve children with similar backgrounds. The value inquiry centered economics education was provided to the 25 children in the experimental group for 8 weeks. This result was analyzed by t-test. The finding showed that the posttest scores of total pro-social behavior of experimental group [t=-5.52, p<.001] were significantly higher than that of control group [t=-1.99]. Therefore, It was found that the inferential instruction in conflict situation increase the total pro-social behavior of young children positively.
