본 연구에서는 국립대학 부설 초등학교와 부설 중·고등학교의 운영 개선방안 에 대해 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA: Importance-Performance Analysis) 기법을 이용 하여 향후 개선방향에 대한 우선 순위 설정을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 조사대상은 2011년 교육통계연보에 국립대학 부설 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교에 소속된 교사로, 불성실한 응답을 제외한 855명의 자료를 최종 분석하였다. IPA 분석 결과, 국립대학 부설 초등학교의 경우 제 1사분면(지속유지)에는 총 13개 항목이 포함되었으며, 2사분면(우선 시정 노력)에는 6개, 3사분면(낮은 우 선 순위)에는 7개가 포함되었다. 반면 4사분면(과잉노력 지양)에는 어떤 항목도 포함되지 않았다. 반면 국립대학 부설 중·고등학교 운영의 IPA 분석 결과는, 1사분면(지속유지) 에 6개 항목이 2사분면(우선 시정 노력)에는 12개, 3사분면(낮은 우선 순위)에는 5개, 4사분면(과잉노력 지양)에는 3개 항목이 포함되어 부설 초등학교와는 다른 형태를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 국립대학 부설 초등학교는 현재의 기능을 최대한 살리는 방향으로 그 위치를 확립하여, 대학-부설학교 간 지원과 협력 체계가 개선되어야 함을 시사하며, 부설 중·고등학교 역시 주요기능을 유지시키면서 행·재정적 지원을 개선해 나갈 필요가 있다.
The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of elementary and secondary school teachers who are working for the schools attached to National Teacher Education Institutes on the operation of the schools, which have been considering their legal status change from national school to public school controlled by the local superintendent. A total of 855 teachers fully responded to a survey containing 26 items representing controversies on school`s goals it has set within the context of its mission, supervision related educational activities, autonomy and governance, support and resources, collaboration and educational offerings, and mission and objectives on a 5-point scale. Descriptive statistics, paired t-test, Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) was conducted based on each school level to increase understanding of the current situation and trends, and this understanding could be used in turn to plan improvement opportunities. Results indicated that in elementary school level, Quadrant 1(Keep Up the Good Work) included 13 items, Quadrant 2(Concentrate Here) included 6 items, Quadrant 3(Low Priority) included 7 items and Quadrant 4(Possible Overkill) had nothing. In secondary school level, Quadrant 1(Keep Up the Good Work) included 7 items, Quadrant 2(Concentrate Here) included 13 items, Quadrant 3(Low Priority) included 5 items and Quadrant 4(Possible Overkill) included 3 items.
