본 연구에서는 아동이 지각한 아버지와의 애착과 학교적응의 관계에서 놀이성의 중재효과를 검증 하여, 놀 이성을 향상하기 위한 실증적 실천전략의 근거를 제시하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기도에 소재한 초등학교 5, 6학년 330명으로부터 수집된 자료를 대상으로 아버지와의 애착과 아동의 놀 이성이 학교적응에 영향을 미치고, 놀 이성이 아버지와의 애착과 학교적응에 중재변인으로 작용할 것이라는 연구모형을 설정하고 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 이를 검증하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 아버지와의 애착과 학교적응의 관계에서 아동의 놀이성의 중재효과가 확인되었다. 둘째, 중재효과의 양상을 확인해본 결과, 아버지와의 애착이 낮은 상황에서 아동의 놀이 성은 학교적응에 약간의 차이를 나타내었다. 셋째, 아버지와의 애착이 높은 상황에서 놀 이성이 높은 아동들은 그렇지 못한 아동들보다 학교적응을 현저히 더 잘하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 는 아버지와의 애착과 놀이성은 중요한 관련이 있으며 특히, 아버지와의 애착 안정성이 높은 상 황에서 아동의 놀이성은 학교 적응에 매우 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 밝혔다는 점에서 의의 가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating effect of that playfulness on the part of children has on the relationship between father attachment and school adjustment, as perceived by the child. The subjects comprised 330 elementary school students from 5th to 6th grades in Seoul and Kyung-ki province. The influence of father attachment and a child`s playfulness on school adjustment was investigated. For the purposes of data analysis, the statistical program (SPSS, version 19.0) was used. Correlation and hierarchical regression analysis were also performed. The main results of this study were as follows. First, the moderating effect of child`s playfulness shows a statistically significant correlation in the relationship of father attachment and school adjustment. Second, when there was a low degree of father attachment, the children with levels of playfulness showed a little difference in school adjustment. Third, when there was a high degree of father attachment, the children with high levels of playfulness showed remarkably better school adjustment than the children with low levels of playfulness. This study is important in that it clearly demonstrates that there is an important relationship between father attachment and a child`s sense of playfulness, and especially under the conditions of a strongly developed sense of father attachment, child`s sense of playfulness has very positive effect on school adjustment.
