<매화사>는 안민영이 운애산방의 풍류 현장에서 가곡 연창을 위해 지은 가곡창사이다. 안민영은 스승 박효관이 좋아하는 매화를 대상으로 하여, 박효관이 즐겨 부르는 ``우계면 한바탕``을 대신하여 약식의 ``우조 한바탕``인 <매□사>를 지은 것이다. <매화사>는 안민영이 분매를 사랑한 노스승에게 바치는 일종의 獻詞이면서, 사제풍류의 흥취를 표현한 작품이다. <매화사>는 일차적으로 풍류정신의 소산이다. 그러나 <매화사>의 성격은 어느 한가지의 개념으로 규정하여 말하기는 어렵다. 안민영은 이 작품을 통해 자신의 풍류정신을 포함하여 다양한 면모를 보여주고 있다. 안민영이 <매화사>를 즉흥적으로 지을 수 있었던 것은 가곡창사를 지을 수 있는 능력을 갖고 있었기 때문이다. 그는 이러한 능력을 바탕으로, 평소 마음속에 갖고 있던 매화에 대한 이미지들을 적절히 조합하고 배열하여 <매화사>를 지었다. 본 연구에서는 <매화사>의 우조 한바탕의 악곡 구성을 4分하여 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서는 <매화사>를 이러한 우조 한바탕의 악곡 구성으로 인식하고, 작품의 창작 상황· 작가의 심리 · 작품의 전개 양상 등을 복합적으로 고려하여 살펴보았다. 그리고 겉으로 표현된 현상도 살펴보되, 표상된 것의 이면에 숨어 있는 작가의 내심도 살펴보았다.

Then we considered the situation of composing, the mentality of lyric writer and development of arts in combination with recognizing the composition of music of . We reviewed not only the outward expression of the arts, but also deep down inside the writer behind the arts.
