This study suggested community dance as a plan of participating a new consciousness education of university dance for the new ecological period. The cores of various educational innovations are environmental based education, experience focused education and local community oriented education. The university community dance education in this study is designed for the university dance education innovation. The community dance aims to communicate by means of dance in the community sharing social interests that has an educational type of the consciousness of the time to complement social relationship with dance and to supply social experiences. The field practice design of the community dance is all-in-one type education with teamwork from community selection, purpose and method of dance sharing, execution to feedback. The community dance helps to experience common consciousness and value by cooperative activities of dispersed knowledge. The detail of the community dance must be a dance focusing on mental activity and creative activity. It must not be restricted to one type of dance, but include wide range of dance practice (experiences). The community dance forms a cooperative network in which various areas` participants shares their knowledge in the dispersing way. The cooperative learning of the community dance enlarges the self-consciousness to others, and expands the scope of sympathy so that they might be involved in mutual independent community more deeply.
