여대생의 자격취득이 취업, 임금, 직무만족에 미치는 영향 분석
The Effect of the Female College Graduates` Acquisition of Qualification on Employment, Wage, and Job Satisfaction, When Their Entering into Labor Market

본 연구의 목적은 여대생의 자격보유에 따른 초기 노동시장 진입의 효과를 실증 분석하는 것이다. 한국고용정보원의 2009 대졸자 직업이동 경로조사 패널자료를 활용하였고, 연구대상은 2007년 8월과 2008년 2월에 졸업한 여자대학생으로 총 7,539명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 자격 취득에 대한 초기노동시장에서의 취업효과, 임금효과, 직무만족 효과를 분석하기 위해 교차분석, t-검증, 변량분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석, 중다 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 여대생의 자격보유율은 76.5%(5,770명)로 자격을 보유하지 않은 여대생 23.5%(1,769명)보다 매우 많았다. 학교유형별로는 교육대의 자격보유율이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 직업훈련을 경험할수록 자격보유율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 여대생의 취업 및 임금에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 다양한 변인들을 통제하고, 양적인 접근으로써 자격보유여부에 따른 초기노동시장에서의 취업, 임금, 직무만족 효과에 국한하여 연구하였다. 이를 보완하기 위해서는 여대생의 초기노동시장진입에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 다양한 변인을 고려하여 보다 질적인 연구의 필요성을 제기하였다.

This study aimed to empirically analyze the effect of qualifications on the early labor market. To this end, the panel date from the survey about the vocational route for college graduates in 2009 by the Korea Employment Information Service was used. 7,539 female students who graduated from colleges in Aug 2007 or in Feb 2008 were targeted for an analysis. Cross-tabs, t-test, ANOVA, logistic regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed for the analysis of the effect of the qualifications on employment, wage, and job satisfaction in the early labor market. As a result of the analysis, the qualification retention rate was 76.5% (5,770 students), which was much higher than those with no qualification 23.5%, (1,769 students). As for the type of school, the qualification retention rate in the college of education was the highest, and those who received job training course had more qualifications. As the results, in terms of qualification effects, there was a positive effect on employment, wages, and job satisfaction. Regulating various variables which may have an effect on the employment of female college students and their wage for quantitative approach, this study was limited to the effect of the qualifications only on employment, wage and job satisfaction in the early labor market in accordance with the presence of the qualifications. To supplement the limitations in this study, it is needed to conduct a qualitative study considering a variety of variables which may have effects of the female college student`s entering the early labor market.
