The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of Christian Dance Class on health-related physical fitness, and stress of female university students, and to present its worth in the education of liberal arts for the holistic maturity of engaging the body, mind, and spirit. The participants of this study were 70 students(Christians=51, non-Christians=19) who were enrolled in the Christian Dance Class of the college of Liberal Arts. They were analyzed by inquiring about spiritual maturity, health-related physical fitness, and stress for the verification of the differences in the groups before and after the dance class. The data handling of the test results was calculated by statistical program, SPSS 18.0. After calculating the average and the standard deviation, analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) and paired t-test were performed. According to the results of the research, Maturity valued and Maturity internalized in the lower part of Spiritual maturity is increased significantly in both Christian group and Non-Christian group. And then there were significant differences in both groups 15 weeks later. In case of health-related physical fitness, Christian group and Non-Christian group is increased significantly in cardiovascular endurance, muscle endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility. There were no significant differences in both groups 15 weeks later. In case of Stress, Christian group and non-Christian group decreased significantly in general health and life scale.
