이야기 구조에서 어떤 주인공과 그것을 방해하는 요소들이 상대항이 되는 것은 필수적이다. 이야기 속에서의 적대자와의 다양한 갈등 상황은 주인공이 성취하고자 하는 바를 명확하고 구체적으로 보여줄 수 있다. 왜냐하면 주인공은 많은 시련들을 거치면서 변화와 좌절을 겪지만, 부단한 노력을 통해서 결국에는 성취하고자 하는 바를 이루게 된다. 이 과정에서 주인공이 욕망하고 지향하고 이룩하고자 하는 바를 확실하게 알 수 있기 때문이다. 여기에서는 드라마 <뿌리깊은 나무>의 이야기 속 에서 나타나는 주인공(세종)과 적대세력간의 갈등관계를 통해 주인공이 소망했던 세계를 재구성해보고자 한다. 이에 나아가 실제 훈민정음의 제자원리를 분석하여 그 속에 내재된 이상도 함께 살펴볼 것이다. 이는 이야기 속 이상과 현실 속 이상 의 결합을 통해 세종이 꿈꿨던 실제 세상을 구성해보는 데 목적이 있다.

A certain main character and the hindrance factors becoming oppositions within the story structure is inevitable. Various conflict situations against antagonist within the story can clearly and specifically show what the main character intends to accomplish. The reason for this is because the main character experience changes and setbacks through many trials but ultimately accomplishes what was intended through continuous efforts. It is because what the main character desires, aims and intends to accomplish can be clearly known in this process. This study will recompose the world desired by the main character (Sejeong) through the conflict relation between the main character and the antagonistic forces shown in the story of TV drama "Deeply Rooted Tree". In addition, the principle of Hunminjeong invention will be analyzed to also examine the Utopia contained within. The purpose of this is to compose the actual world dreamt by Sejeong by combing the ideal within the story and the ideal within reality.
