평생학습기관에서의 창의적체험활동 운영 방안 -충청남도를 중심으로-

이 연구는 지역의 평생학습기관이 정규 교육과정의 하나인 창의적체험활동 운영에 참여할 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구결과 창의적체험활동은 지역사회의 다양한 기관과 연계하여 시행하도록 되어 있으나 아직 시행 초기인 관계로 평생학습기관을 비롯한 지역사회의 기관과의 긴밀한 연계모형이 개발되지 않았다. 그러나 지역의 일부 청소년기관에서는 학교와 연계한 창의적체험활동 운영을 다양하게 시도하고 있었다. 학생과 학부모, 교사집단을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사 결과 창의적체험활동의 운영은 문화예술과 진로, 스포츠 분야의 다양한 프로그램을 전문적인 지도자에 의해 평일 중 하루나 반나절동안 국가나 교육청의 부담으로 실시하는 것을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 평생학습기관에서의 창의적체험활동 운영모형은 지역자원과 학교를 연결해 주는 허브모형, 찾아가는 아웃리치 프로그램 모형, 평생학습기관의 특화 프로그램 제공 모형 등이 도출되었고, 이를 위한 세부과제로 지역사회 특성에 맞는 창의적체험활동 프로그램 개설, 권역별 코디네이팅 역할 수행, 전담인력의 확보, 컨설팅 그룹의 구성, 교육 및 재능기부자 인력 풀 확보, 단위학교의 코디네이터 교사 양성기능 수행, 권역별 자원지도 제작 및 자원과의 연계, 예산의 확보 등을 제시하였다.

This study was implemented to build the linkage strategy for an efficient operation of Creative Experience Activity with the regional community, which was introduced in the “2009 Revision School Curriculum”. Specifically, this study focused operation of Creative Experience Activity at the Life-long Education Institute. For this purpose, a case study, survey and brainstorming of experts were adopted; a case study for excellent schools which were implementing the Creative Experience Activity, a survey including a needs assessment from teachers, students and parents in the Chungnam province regarding the Creative Experience Activity. This includes brainstorming for finding out ideas that were related to the concrete model and strategies of the Creative Experience Activity at the Life-long Education Institute. Based on the results, three models for implementation of Creative Experience Activity at the institute were suggested. The first model was the Hub Model which role plays the link between regional resources and school as a coordinator institute. Second, is the Outreach Program Model, which required visiting and supplying programs to the schools that wanted to do various creative experience activities, Thirdly, was the Specialized Program Supply Model which offered programs to students who were visiting the institute alone, In addition to the study, follows suggested strategies for invigoration of the Creative Experience Activity at the Life-long Education Institute. First, it requires the need to develop various creative experience programs that meet the demands of the students and the teachers in Chungnam province. Second, the coordinator institute among the life-long education institutes should be designated by the regional sector in order to strengthen its role for Creative Experience Activity. Thirdly, the experts for Creative Experience Activity should be secured at every life-long education institute. Fourth, the consulting group should be built for helping and supporting the Creative Experience Activity provided at the level of the Chungnam province. Fifth, the manpower pool for education and talent donation should be organized. Sixth, the teachers who could play important roles as a coordinator for Creative Experience Activity should be fostered and allocated at every school. Lastly, the special budget for Creative Experience Activity at every school should be formulated.
