본 연구는 de Bono가 개발한 육색사고모 기법을 활용한 명화감상 활동이 유아의 창의성, 언어 표현력 및 미술 감상능력에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. B시에 위치한 유치원에 재원 중인 만 4세 유아 58명이 실험집단과 비교집단에 배정되었다. 실험집단에는 육색사고모 기법을 활용한 명화감상 활동을 실시하였고, 비교집단에는 미학적 요소에 기초한 명화감상 활동을 실시하였다. 창의성검사인 TTCT, 언어 표현력검사, 미술 감상능력검사를 사용하여 연구자료를 수집하였으며, 수집한 자료에 대하여 공분산분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 실험집단의 창의성, 언어 표현력, 미술 감상능력의 사후 점수가 비교집단에 비해 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 육색사고모 기법은 유아의 명화감상 활동에 효과적인 교수학습방법임을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of art appreciation activity using the six thinking hats on young children`s creativity, verbal expression abilities, and art appreciation. The subject of this study were 58 young children who attended a kindergarten in Busan. The experimental group participated in the art appreciation activity using the six thinking hats while the comparison group participated in the art elements-based appreciation activity. Data were analyzed by ANCOVA. Results showed that there were significant differences between the experimental group and the comparison group in post-test scores. The results suggested that the art appreciation activity using the six thinking hats would be more effective to develop young children`s creativity, verbal expression abilities, and art appreciation than traditional art appreciation activity.
