How has the PC cell phone era made, and what impact will it have to the contemporary society? In this paper, I explore the features of the PC cell phone era from a view of the real information society based on the technorealism. In chapter 2, I shortly arrange the history of the cell phone. In chapter 3, I suggest the era of the PC cell phone era as the era of the Homo Connecticus. In chapter 4, I explore the opportunity of the era. In chapter 5, I explore the risk of the era. From a view of the real information society, the PC cell phone era has the huge opportunity and the huge risk. Our task is to increase the opportunity and to lessen the risk. To do this, we must have interest in the technology as well as the institution which socially regulates the development and use of the technology. And we must remember the PC cell phone era will be able to end in a horrible failure without the ecological turn.
