Narrative poems require a suggestion and use of an independent method distinct from novel education on the basis of the perception that the narrative poem is a poem`s sub-section in which a unique characteristic of a poem inheres. A narrative poem`s introduction of the epical method might be understood as a tendency of a poem to be epical, which is not a creative work or appreciation method of damaging the unique nature of a poem. Accordingly, there is necessity of suggesting epic-lyric-integrated teaching method which doesn`t forget the unique fragrance of a poem while sufficiently bringing out the original purpose of introducing epical elements in appreciating narrative poems. Accordingly, this writing intends to arrange an effective method of understanding narrative poems through the appreciation method of studying connotation directivity of an event, studying sentiment directivity of a narrative, and studying image directivity of reality. This writer believes that through these methods of appreciation, an appreciator may get the opportunity to experience diverse sections of aesthetic consciousness and to appreciate a narrative poem like a real poem.
