This paper aims to find the principles according to which collocations with neologisms are formed. Neologisms that are not listed in the lexicon are used in forms of collocation. They are newly created on the internet, and as they are not widely spread, do not have transparency. On-line games are their biggest sources. Some kinds of neologism-collocations are composed entirely of newly- created words. However, collocations made of neologisms can also be derived from existing collocations through analogy and metonymy. Analogy reveals the similarity between existing collocations and newly formed collocations and helps collocational noads to select appropriate collocates. And with metonymy, partial meaning of collocates can be expanded to the whole lexical unit.
