The purpose of this study is to analyze genetic concepts of 7th science curriculum, middle and high school textbook based on history of science. The framework of genetic concept based on science history was constructed and used to analyze the conceptual structure of curriculum and textbook. After classifying and categorizing the process of historical genetic conceptual change using literatures of science history, the framework of genetic concept was developed. It was divided into 4 different periods of history such as ``Before Mendel``, ``Mendel``, ``Morgan``, and ``Watson & Crick`` periods. The framework was also divided into three different levels of genetic system such as Submicroscopic, Cellular, and Macroscopic levels. The results of this study were as follows: All of the genetic concept of 7th science curriculum were described as concepts of Morgan period. The other hand, concepts of different periods and level were mixed up and confused in the middle and high school biology textbooks. They did not have systematic conceptual structure from an historical point of view. It is a serious problem that three levels of genetic conceptual structure are not integrated systematically for students to form conceptual structure correctly.
