Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) are a promising cell source due to their application and differentiation potential in regenerative medicine. Human PSC-derived differentiated cells are usually in mixed state of lineage-directed and non-directed cells. Therefore, to use hPSC-derived differentiated cells such as cardiomyocyte (CMs), obtaining homologous, lineage-directed cells is prerequisite. In this study, we reviewed general cardiac specific markers and newly reported markers of hPSC-derived CMs.
