This study was intended to analyze the similarity of formation between Korean modern literature and Japanese modern literature, based on the recognition that korean modern literature was born out of the social, economical background of colonial system. I tried to catch the city which becomes a background of this work through the eyes of Flaneur, focusing on "Nalge, wing" of the Ri-sang which is a masterpiece of Korean modern literature. It`s the exotic atmosphere of Dalian out of which Japanese modern literature was born overseas as korean modern literature was out of the formation of colonial economy in 1930 `s and the background of the capital city based on it. This is a very interesting fact. Author Ri-sang was really a colonial child born in 1910. The main character of "Nalge" who is a text shown in this treatise is an alter ego of an author in a sense. A main character wanders in an artificial city and observes it. As for as a motive of main character`s going out, it`s money for which his wife sold her body. Money is concerned with the sense of values which rules a main character and also foundation of the capital of the colony and financial consciousness at that time. come to arrive at the weariness which can be felt, running after eyes of Flaneur`s observation and comes from an artificial city in a splendid colony, and at the cry of the internally huddled ego. There was ``ennui`` produced from the special situation as the colony which is at the root of Korean modern literature. Ri-sang would transcend actuality through the ennui and dream about the new time. Isn`t that a speciality of korean modern literature which is different from Japan and other countries?
