The purpose of this paper is to verify the education effects of the preliminary workbook, which was developed with the principles of EIU, ME, and WE. For this, a survey instrument was designed to demonstrate and compare students` perceptions and attitudes toward (or against) EIL and LI between the control group (MFLA, K-10 students) and the experimental group (GFLA K-10 students). Through quantitative and qualitative research, the significant differences between the experimental group and the control group was verified. The findings from data analyses signal which directions the ELT in South Korea should head toward in order to overcome linguistic imperialistic elements in Korean`` mindset and to enable language learners to live in a global society with intercultural communication competence and well-balanced global perspectives.
