환경 보전과 자원 절약을 목적으로 하는 지속가능성 경향인"리사이클"은 저성장 지향과 윤리적인 책임의식 강조에 의한 심미성 추구 지양의 관점으로 제한될 수 있다. 환경 이슈를 배경으로 등장하여 소멸하는 일시적인 패션 경향으로서의 리사이클의 한계를 극복하기 위하여, 친(親)기술과 디자인의 부가가치를 재조합할 수 있는 진화된 디자인 경향으로 주목받고 있는 리사이클 패션디자인 경향과 미적특성 및 패션 디자인 개발프로세스의 특성을 파악하고자 한다. 이를 통하여, 패션과 디자인의 미래에 있어서 디자이너 역할의 긍정적 가치 부여와 새로운 복식미의 지속가능한 영역 확장 가능성을 제공하고자 한다.

For the purposes of Sustainability trend as likely as recycling, too strong emphasizing the protection of environment and conservation of natural resources are able to restrict at the aesthetical demands owing to strong ethical responsibility and low growth in economy. Environment and economic growth are main issues at present, so the growth and decline in fashion have a transient tendency. For overcoming the recycling limitation, recombination of pro-technology and recycling in design for value added as the advanced trend in design could be analyzed. And also, the processes of fashion design by recycling are especially discussed. The role of fashion designer will be a main in near future for development of industry and continuous expansion of the region in new style of dress and its ornaments will be discussed.
