본 연구는 국내 최초 다서(茶書)라 할 수 있는 한재(寒齋) 이목(李穆1471-1498)의 저서(著書) 『다부(茶賦)』 ``험기산(驗基産)``에 대한 재해석(再解釋)이다. 한재는 28세 무오사화(戊午士禍)로 짧은 생을 마친 선비다. 그러나 그가 남긴 『다부』는 지금으로부터 510여 년 전 조선시대 유자(儒者)들의 정신세계를 가늠해 볼 수 있는 유일한 다서 가운데 하나로 평가받는다. 그러나 인문학적 고증(考證)을 간과(看過)한 그의 생애(生涯)가 미화 왜곡되어 혹에 혹이 더해지면서 정설 아닌 정설로 후학들에게 읽혀지고 있다. 이렇게 왜곡된 생애는 작품의 해석에도 영향을 미치게 된다. 선행연구의 기록을 보면 "``험기산(驗基産)``에서 ``험(驗)``이란 ``실제로 증험하였다``"는 뜻으로, "``험기산``이라고 한 것을 보면 한재 이목이 명나라에 갔을 당시 차의 명산지 일부를 답사했고, 차의 명산품을 직접 수색(搜索)하였다."라고 해석함으로서 한재가 명나라에 가서 차생산지를 직접 수색하였다는 사실을 전제로 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한재가 명나라에 실제로 다녀왔는지 또 차생산지를 직접 답사 수색하였는지 그 가능여부를 확인함으로서 ``험기산``에 대한 해석을 ``차의 명산지 답사 및 차명산품을 수색하지 않은 상태에서 실제로 증험한 듯 부(賦) 문학적 특성 과장 또는 풍자기법으로 기록한 글``이라고 해석하고자 한다.

This study examines the analysis of 『Da-bu(茶賦)』 ``Heomgisan(驗基産)`` written by Hanjae(寒齋) Yi Mok(李穆 1471-1498). Hanjae is a classical scholar died early when he was 28 years old in the massacre of scholars in the year of Muo(戊午士禍). However, the 『Da-bu』 written by him is assessed to be one of the only tea books that enable the estimation of the mental world of Confucian scholars who lived approximately 510 years ago from now in the Joseon Dynasty period. However, his life that lacks academic historical research has been beautified by distortion to be added up with many additions and the story of his life has been read by younger students as an established theory although it is not correct. The life distorted as such also affects the interpretation of his works. Based on records in previous studies, ``Heom(驗)`` in ``Heomgisan`` means ``actually experienced`` and the studies interpreted the word ``Heomgisan`` as meaning that ``when Hanjae Lee Mok went to Ming, he visited some of famous tea producing areas and searched famous tea products firsthand`` based on the premise that Hanjae went Ming to firsthand search famous tea producing areas. In this study, the interpretation of ``Heomgisan`` will be examined by checking the possibilities of Hanjae``s firsthand travel to Ming and his firsthand visit and search for tea producing areas.
