서울의 대표적인 대중교통의 하나인 지하철 노선도에 따라 문학공간의 범위가 어떻게 확장되었는가와, 1950년대 이후 대표적인 작품의 배경으로 어떻게 묘사가 되고 있고 시대적 공간적 특성을 반영하고 있는가를 탐색하였다. 1호선부터 9호선에 이르는 특성을 찾아보았고, 도심에서 점차 외곽으로 문학공간이 확대됨을 확인할 수 있으며, 주된 이정표로의 공간은 시대와 상관없이 계속 반복적으로 누적적인 문학공간의 겹을 이루고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 지하철 노선을 중심으로 한, 서울시의 스크린 도어의 시를 살펴 본 결과, 한 두 곳을 제외하고는 그 역과 지역의 특성을 잘 나타내는 시를 선택하지 않고 임의적으로 이유 없이 배치된 것을 알 수 있었다. 대중이 이동하는 공간에 문학을 경험하게 할 수 있는 커다란 기회를 보다 정교하고 세련된 기획을 통해, 문학공간이 확장되기를 제언한다.

We aim to investigate how to expand literary space along the Seoul Metro and subways which are the most dominant public transportation, and to look back on how to reflect the characteristics of places in the representative novels. From 1st to 9th subway lines, the literary space have expanded from central business district to suburbs and the main famous places have several folders of thematic spaces. Only a few poem`s in the screen doors in the subway reflects the placeness of the station and neighboring points of interest. It is necessary to have articulated consideration to locate of poems as a visible literary space.
