이집트, 그리스, 터키 답사를 통하여 얻은 문화역사적 사실들을 자연지리적인 관점에서 정리하면 다음과 같다. 이집트의 중요한 생활무대인 나일강 삼각주의 카이로 기제 피라밋 주변의 원력과 구릉은 나일강의 범람에 의하여 형성되었고 룩소르 왕가의 계곡은 나일강의 침식에 의하여 만들어졌다. 아테네 아크로폴리스의 구릉지는 종교적, 군사적으로 중요하며 아고라 전체를 조망하고 관리 감독할 수 있는 위치에 있다. 파묵깔레의 온천은 과다한 탄산칼슘을 포함한 물이 지표로 나오면서 이산화탄소는 증발하고 탄산칼슘은 집적되어 종유석, 포트홀, 폭포, 림스톤, 석회화단구 등이 형성되었다. 안탈리아의 외곽지대에는 원력과 바다 점토의 퇴적물이 곳곳에 많고 표토는 적색토이다. 데린쿠유 지하도시는 응회암으로 되어 있어 손톱으로도 잘 패어질 만큼 강도가 약하고 수분을 잘 흡수하기 때문에 사람들은 이러한 응회암의 특성을 이용하여 지하 생활을 할 수 있었다. 사람들은 이러한 응회암의 특성을 이용하여 지하로 파내려갈 수 있었고 응회암이 수분을 잘 흡수하기 때문에 지하에서 생활할 수 있었다. 까빠도끼아의 장엄한 굴뚝모양 암석은 응회암 계곡의 사면을 흘러내리는 홍수와 바람에 의하여 식각된 모자, 원추, 이암, 원주, 첨탑 등의 다양한 형태로 형성되었다. 까빠도끼아 주변은 거대한 용암대지가 펼쳐지고 화구로 보이는 분석구들이 산재한다. 표면과 수면이 계절에 따라 다르게 나타나는 소금호수는 과거에 바다였던 곳으로 비가 오지 않고 소량의 빗물이 지표를 흐르며 각종 염분을 녹여 염호가 되었다.
