The new Chinese vacation system not only adjusted and changed the tourists` consuming time, style, and content, but also strengthened the tourists` motivation for travel and provided more opportunities for tourism development. However, it also forced tourism to face a huge challenge at the same time. The author suggested that related governmental departments and tourism enterprises should satisfy the new demand of consumer tourism and promote healthy tourism by means of changing the traditional mode of thinking, positioning the target market exactly, upgrading the quality of commodities, improving customer service, and offering individuated and diversified production.
