This paper presents the findings of a survey which examines middle school students` preferences for grammar presentation techniques and error correction. The questionnaire consisting of 5 items was administered to 417 middle school students, of which the number of first, second, and third grade students was 148, 126, and 143 respectively. The results from this study revealed that most students think grammar is necessary and helpful in studying English. There were no significant differences among the class levels in p references for grammar presentation techniques, but there was a significant difference in preference in the upper level students in their achievement test scores for the deductive approach. Most of the subjects favored the teacher`s correction of their errors.
