이 논문의 목적은 2010년 여성가족부에서 실시한 청소년문화의집 평가사업 수행체계와 평가결과에 대한 분석을 토대로 청소년문화의집의 세부적인 현황과 문제점을 파악하고 그 대안을 마련하는 것에 있다. 평가사업 수행체계와 관련하여, 평가지표 개발과정에 시설관계자의 참여를 확대하여 현장 중심의 방향으로 진행되었다는 점, 지방자치단체의 의견을 적극 반영하는 등의 특징을 보였다. 또한 4개 영역으로 나누어진 평가영역별 평가결과를 보면, 시설운영 및 관리영역이 가장 높은 평가(100점 만점에 77.80점)를 받은 반면에 조직 및 인력영역이 상대적으로 취약한 것(100점 만점에 52.74점)으로 나타나 이에 대한 보완이 시급하다는 점을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 2010년 청소년문화의집 평가는 일반적인 실태조사와 비교할 때 청소년시설에 대한 평정을 위한 자료를 수집하는 과정을 통해 보다 정확하고 객관적인 실태자료를 확보하였고, 이를 통해 청소년문화의집 지원정책의 수립과 추진과정에 평가결과 분석 자료를 적극 활용함으로써 정책의 효과성을 증진시킬 수 있을 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 각 영역의 세부적인 평가항목별 현황을 분석하여 현장과 정부의 차원에서 보완해야할 분야를 보다 객관적으로 제시할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the evaluation results of Youth Culture Center in 2010 and to suggest the governmental policy. The evaluation of Youth Culture Center in 2010 provided the opportunity to self-check the current situation of youth cultural center and acted as a opportunity to find out reformation for itself. Also, it provided opportunity to check the improvement and details that each youth cultural center should move toward in the future. And results from the analyze on the evaluation results has gathered real data of center. The policy on the youth cultural center will be improve with this data.
